		<description><![CDATA[In the excellent Channel 4 documentary, Mummifying Alan, a team of academics attempt to create a mummy with a human volunteer&#039;s (dead) body.  It is fascinating, if a little grizzly, but interestingly the brain isn&#039;t removed - it simply settles to the back of the brain following part of the preservation process.
