Admittedly I am not transsexual but a biowoman with fluid gender.

However, I have been and autoandrophile (a female who is sexually aroused by the thought of having a masculine body) since childhood.

I found this page because I do feel the presence of phantom male anatomy...almost exclusively when sexually excited.

Some (but by no means all) M2F trans women definitely report a 'phantom' penis sensation. I've been involved in support work with the M2F community for almost twenty years and I've seen it repeatedly, although I've not kept records. Perhaps I should have. It's quite distressing for some trans women, because although the body may have been modified, to suddenly get the sensation that everything is back where it was can be very frightening until they check everything is where it should be - at least one was briefly convinced there had been some devastating surgical failure. It's necessary to relearn the relationship between sensation and the area it comes from, and even then, the amount of sensation retained depends entirely on the method used in the reconstruction and the skill of the surgeon. For those who are left with little sensation, phantom penis would not be at all surprising.

Yes, sometimes. I've read a study (I don't have the link with me) that found that it was rarer than in cisgender men who'd had penile amputation.

Transsexual gender realignment surgery does not involve removal of the penis but penile inversion. The skin and nerve endings are all still present but put to a different use. It's highly unlikely that phantom limb sensations will occur from material that is for the most part still present in the body and receiving sensation.
