I feel that the left side of my body has merged with a stranger. I have desires to remove and damage parts on the right side of my body.

The odd thing is that I love the right half, and the left side of my body feels dominating, manipulative, and dangerous. I do not exhibit any of these behaviors, but that’s how my mind perceives the left side of my body.

I’m right handed. I feel that in losing or have lost my mind and I don’t know how to go about sharing these feelings. I’ve thought that maybe I had a seizure I was unaware of.

I’m interested in what my brain is doing and why I have such a distinct sensation that the halves of my body are in opposition.

My seizures are generally well-controlled. However, I have had the sensation of being “out” of my body, or of my body “not belonging” to me. It’s hard to explain, but it’s like I could still see and speak normally, but *I* wasn’t the one seeing and speaking. Yet it wasn’t exactly an “out of body experience” either. It was like my consciousness split into two separate parts, and it was the “other me” who was seeing and speaking from inside my body, while the “original me” observed from inside.
