Oh yeah, I remember that job too. We used to “HIJACK INTELLIGENCE” from the Soviets et al, while I was in the Navy, with the Village Idiots, er rather Village People, who sort of had an obsession, er rather INTEREST in studying other folks VILLAGES from spy ships, satellites, P-3s, U-2s (not Bon Jovi’s U-2) and SR-71 “Blackbirds” (not the Beatles Blackbird either).
It seemed they weren’t as smart as they thought they were, but smarter that we thought they were when they apparently HIJACKED OUR INTELLIGENCE in the 60′s and we didn’t find out till the Israeli’s stafed and sank one of INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION SHIPS in 1967. We had to repair the damage, patch the leaks, then convince the Soviets we hadn’t done so by ALLOWING the North Koreans to capture the USS Pueblo so they would turn the CRYPTO KEYS over to the Soviets who would then think that all of the crap they had collected since they originally got our INTELLIGENCE via our crypto keys was still good, since we hadn’t changed the keys YET…
When we poke around in other people’s INTELLIGENCE and we get it out of context, misinterpret the language or CRYPTO, or just don’t figure it out right because they are lying all of the time, AND THAT’S THE TRUTH… Well, then you have a problem; right?
So, better to ask folks for their intelligence instead of hijacking it and they can clear up any misconceptions we have which could lead to a rash of violent outbursts and damage to planet by releasing too much CANNED SUNLIGHT into the atmosphere and OZONE. Global Warming???
